This is the clue to a topic which appears far to often on this blog, appears far too often in the news, appears far too often in family obituaries and just appears far too often!
On Tuesday, March 11 a Cessna Caravan 208B crashed near Bethel Airport in Bethel, Alaska. The same model on a passenger flight originating in Bethel crashed near St. Marys, Alaska on November 29, 2014. Does anyone at the FAA have anything to say about limitations to light ice being sufficient in the Caravans manufactured before TKS and bigger engines? Guess not.
